Designed to inspire curiosity and critical thinking, this course offers a hands-on exploration of biology’s foundations, fostering a true appreciation for the intricacies of life.
What will be covered:
Photosynthesis
Cellular Respiration
Chemical equations & reactions
Developing an experiment
Activities and Labs offered:
Leaf lab for Photosynthesis
Yeast lab for Cellular Respiration
Altering the labs to compare results with the control
Graphing, analyzing data, & presenting their findings
Using models to create the chemical equations
Assessment at the end of class with the option of having it be a take home and parents giving it later
